"The Weeds", 2002 - 2008
In the “Weeds” project, graphically patterned plants are created from items such as wrappers, packaging and straws found on the street, as well as junk mail and household debris. These materials are collected and reconfigured into the forms of vegetation and weeds, drawing a connection between unwanted plants and the proliferation of post consumer matter in our physical and psychological environments.
